Season’s greetings everyone!

However you celebrate the end of the year, season’s greetings everyone and a huge thank you for all your support over the last year – and further back than that!

This year I published two more books, bringing my total to 12 in about ten years. Both books were Top New Releases, and The Herbalist’s Daughters topped its category, thanks to you. I’ve muddled along with sales, with Keepers holding its own as the favourite, especially in the US (love you guys!), with great read through to the other books in the series.

Publishing a sequel to River Witch – which was never intended to have one – was a bit of an adventure I have to say. I had to decide what curve balls life would throw at Hester this time around (and it certainly did), and then added the complexity of both a mystery and a dual timeline. Love a challenge! It seems to have worked though judging by reviews.

Next year, I had planned to get the third book in The Wise Women series out, this time following Rose’s story with a focus on her time as a VAD in World War 1. However, life is throwing me its own curve ball in the glorious shape of a puppy, arriving on 29 December. Until puppy – Charlie – is properly settled and happy, he’ll take priority of course. But I’ve bought a playpen for my study so let’s see (says Pollyanna LOL).

As the year ends, I have much to be grateful for, and spending Christmas with my beautiful children and my wonderful husband is the icing on the cake.

Enjoy! Have fun! Season’s greetings everyone, and all the very best for 2025 (an amazing number I have to say!)
