Books for kids from littlies to older ones. I’ll be there with Guardians of the Forest – all five books. More details here.

Sat 29 Nov 2025 Lydney Christmas Fair, Lydney Town Hall 5.00 pm – 8.30 pm

A wide variety of Christmas goodies on offer, following the Christmas Parade. Come along and browse, pick up some presents – including books of course! Last year I offered pre-wrapped books, which went down well. Easy shopping.

Sat 1 Nov 2025 F.W. Harvey day, Minsterworth Village Hall 10.30 am – 3.30 pm

A day focused on the impact of the landscape and heritage of Minsterworth on Harvey’s work, with talks, a panel, a film, and a books table – where I’ll be offering River Witch and The Herbalist’s Daughters for sale alongside a variety of poetry collections and relevant non-fiction. Fri 29 Nov 2024 Dialogue Workshop Cinderford Library 6 pm

Part of Gloucestershire Libraries’ support for NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), this one and a half hour workshop focuses on how dialogue is not just about what the characters say. Good use of dialogue will lift your story in many ways.

Thurs 19 Sep 2024 Novel Writing Workshop Coleford 6.30 pm

Raising funds for highly respected local charity, Great Oaks Hospice, this 2 1/2 hour workshop provides an overview of the key elements of novel writing and is designed to help those who are thinking of writing a novel, have made a start and got stuck, or have a draft and are asking, now what?

£20 per person, all monies raised go to Great Oaks.
