Over the past couple of years, me and/or my work have appeared on YouTube. Listen here to experts read my short stories, or watch me being interviewed/reading my work. Always such fun, and grateful for these opportunities.

Canadian poet Jacqueline Belle has read three of my short stories on her StoryTime for Grownups channel. There’s an anthology, or actually two, of the stories recorded on the channel. Take a look here.

The Moon’s Silver Path

If you scream long enough into darkness

Another of my stories read by Jacqueline. My first ever writing prize and therefore very special to me, this story was runner up in Graffiti Magazine’s 25th anniversary short story competition where the theme was, of course, silver.

Winner of Retreat West’s September 21 Echo-themed flash fiction competition, this wonderful reading brings the story to life.

Sabrina’s Rising

A first prize winner, included in two anthologies, one of ten stories selected to be read at Stroud Short Stories in May 2021 (that not quite so professional version by me is further down). I love this story, and so do many others.

Dragon Gift

This short story has never been entered into a competition and won’t be now. It’s basis is a scene from The Wild Army, Book One of Guardians of the Forest Also read by Jacqueline.

Orchard Kingdom

Winner of the Ottery St Mary inaugural short story competition. Read by me for Bream Community Library. Go here to listen.

Sabrina Rising (again)

Read by me this time, as part of the Stroud Short Stories May 9 online event.
