Bream Book Fair success!

Bream Book Fair was a brilliant day for me and many of the thirty attending authors. It was my best book fair sales day to date, selling out of River Witch and The Herbalist’s Daughters, and only one copy left of The Gift of Belonging – a big thumbs up for The Wise Women series.

The Guardians of the Forest trilogy also did well, and I was thrilled to bits when a young lass came to tell me she was reading The Wild Army, which she had borrowed from her library. She has quite a bit of reading enjoyment ahead of her!

It was so wonderful to see the whole Fair buzzing, and to learn that 94 attending children received a new free book each. Huge thanks to Bream Book Fair organisers, and well done.

Next year’s show is now booked in – Sun Aug 22nd. See you there. I’ll have a new book by then.

  1. I saw the photo of you at the Bream Book fair but unfortunately it was after the event. So disappointed to have missed it. Next year’s Book Fair is in my diary.
Where was the Book Fair advertised? I don’t want to miss out on any other events!
I’m reading The Herbalist’s Daughter at the moment after reading River Witch. Great books. They will be on our Book Group programme next year.

    1. Hi Susan – Thanks so much for the comment and for reading The Wise Women books, lovely to hear from you. The Fair was extensively advertised on FB and IG, in local community groups. Also had a feature in the local paper. But I should talk to Julie about seeing if we can advertise more widely, eg Radio Gloucestershire would be great!
I’m going to be in Cardiff in Nov and back in the Forest, at Taurus Crafts in Dec. The dates are here on my site under the Meet Cheryl Here tab (I can’t remember them off hand!). Thanks too for having the books on your Book Group program – is it local? Happy to come and chat, in person or by zoom. Take care, Cheryl
